Clipping Path
A tracing made with the Pen tool in Adobe Photoshop. Clipping paths make selections in the shape of the path and may also hide areas outside the pen tracing when printed.

CMYK
Acronym meaning Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, the inks used in color printing.

EPS
This full color (CMYK) file works best with mac graphic and layout applications and include a clipping path. For faster downloading, Uniden ImageLink EPS files are compressed in an sit archive with Stuff-it. Please refer to the downloads under the help section for assistance.

Jpeg
Jpeg files are ideal for presentations such as Powerpoint or Web pages. These are full color images compatible with a variety of mac and pc graphic applications.

Abbreviation for Kilobyte, a unit of measure for file sizes.

Line Art
Line art images make excellent work for black and white requirements such as newsprint ads and flyers. For mac and pc compatibility, these are saved as a black and white tiff files.

LZW
Compression option which shrinks the file size of Tiff images.

Mb
Abbreviation for Megabyte, a unit of measure for file sizes. One megabyte constists of 1,000 kilobytes.

SIT
Acronym for Stuff-it, a common application used for file compression on the Macintosh platform.

Tiff
This full color (CMYK) file works great with PC's, and is compatible with most graphic applications. For faster downloading and space savings, LZW compression is enabled.
